Rick is a Fort Collins native and cares deeply about his faith and his community. While attending Colorado State University, Rick worked for a local custom builder as a part-time laborer. He learned about the construction process by doing virtually every aspect of the trade, from excavation, foundation, framing, and trim to painting, roofing, and everything else in between. After graduating with a degree in construction management, and after his mentor moved away in 1975, Rick began his company. The only thing Rick loves as much as helping clients fulfill their dreams is visiting the National Parks with his wife of 45 years, spending time with kids, grandkids, and friends — or a round of golf.
As Operations Manager, Mat is involved in all aspects of the building process with the goal to provide our clients with professional service that ensures quality and value in a timely manner. Mat has been in the Northern Colorado construction industry since 1996, working on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects and bringing vast knowledge and experience to the Splittgerber team. Mat is a husband, father of two, and an avid fisherman. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and friends enjoying the outdoors.
Jonathan grew up in the business and has, at one time or another, been involved in nearly every aspect of work – both on the job site and in the office. He currently takes care of estimating, client coordination, and refining the systems that run in the background. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children. He tries to make use of his degrees in English literature on a daily basis – both at work and at home.
Holly is responsible for the bookkeeping, billing, and office management. She previously held jobs in the newspaper industry in Seattle and Austin, focusing on customer service and detail-oriented work. Holly loves Jesus, quality time with her family, and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Go Rammies!
Emily is the client relations coordinator and manager of new client leads and social media. She has a degree in social work and enjoys helping clients during their home-building process and assisting everyone in the office. She is passionate about volunteering in the community, loves anything to do with animals, and enjoys being close to the mountains.
